Look who's two!!

It's unbelievable that it's been two years since this bundle of joy entered our world. She is beautiful, loving, verbal, and independent. Sydney loves to sing and dance, play, and swing. She's showing lots of interest in potty training but I am holding out until summer when I have plenty of time to dedicate to it. At her check up she weighed 25 lbs and is 35" tall. That puts her in the 30th percentile for weight and 95th percentile for hight. She's tall and thin!!!  I would love to know how you and Brianna are doing. If you get a chance comment and let me know. Sorry for the delay. I forgot my password!!!  If you'd like updates more often I'd be happy to do it. Just let me know!!  

1 year!!!

I am amazed that it is already time to do this one year blog post. Sydney is an angel!!  She is now walking EVERYWHERE!!  She loves music, our dog, and her big brothers!!  We celebrated her birthday last weekend with friends and family. The weather was beautiful and she wandered around the crowd really "working the party"!!  We don't go for her check up until next week so I don't have a current weight or height.  She is a fantastic eater and sleeper (but she is an early bird)!!  Continuing to pray for you and Brianna!!  Stacey

Eight months

Eight months brings a very busy baby!!!  Sydney officially began crawling a week ago and she is all over the place!  She pulls up on anything possible and I spend lots of time staying one step ahead in the area of baby proofing!  She is an absolute doll with a smile that lights up her whole face, eyes that sparkle, and her dimple is beautiful. Sydney is a very happy baby who loves people. I have seen situations that make me think she'll have a strong willed streak. For instance if she has something that I have to take from her she is quick to turn on the tears. Those are about the only tears we see though. She is a very good eater!  She's starting to eat more and more table food and loves it!!  She weighs a little over 17 pounds now!  I hope this update finds you and Brianna doing well. 4 months

I can't believe it's time for this 4 month post!!  Time passes way too fast. Sydney is such a sweet baby. She is doing everything on schedule. Just recently she started grabbing toys and putting them in her mouth. She also discovered her feet and works to get those in her mouth too. She has started rolling from her back to belly. She did that constantly for a couple of days but now it's just occasionally. She's not a paci baby. She chews on her hands and I keep waiting for her to become a thumb sucker, but not yet. She takes her bottles wonderfully and doesn't spit up. We will soon start her on cereal and baby food. I'm sure that will be fun since she has learned to blow bubbles and practices that often!!  I can't say she sleeps thru the night but its usually just one overnight feeding. She loves looking at her mobile in her bed. She's a very happy baby. If she's fussy I know she's tired of doing whatever she's doing and we move on to another activity. At her 4 month check up Sydney was almost 14 lbs and 26". She is off the charts for length. Crazy!!   I hope you and Brianna are doing well!!  Prayers always, Stacey
